Kim Bourda - MSAP Resource Teacher

Kim Bourda has been an advocate for Arts Integration and a Visual Art Teacher for 23+ years.  She holds a MA in Teaching, and a BA in Art Education. She believes in the power of visual and performing arts as integral to educating all students and that learning in and through the arts can bridge achievement gaps while bringing communities together.  In her career she has worked with students from preschool through 12th grade, as well as a teacher leader for teachers of all ages.  As the MSAP Resource teacher at Creative, Performing, and Media Arts Middle School, Kim works to enhance the school’s arts programs, strengthen arts integrated instruction in academic areas, and support teaching and learning that builds welcoming environments that honor and include all learners, their families, and the community.
